Easter Bunny delights Solihull community at Easter Fayre
Easter celebrations were in full swing last week as Solihull Retirement Village hosted a bustling Easter Fayre.
The fayre which was free to attend was packed out with members of the local community and village residents. Featuring stalls with baked goods, clothes, candles, and Easter treats the event also featured a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny who took children on an egg hunt around the village.
Christine who lives in Shirley attended the event with her grandsons commenting: “The children absolutely loved the Easter Fayre, the highlight was a dance off between the little ones and the Easter Bunny, the boys were delighted with their Easter eggs too. What a brilliant event, they won’t stop talking about it!”
Sisters and Solihull Village residents Maureen and Irene Cutler spent two days baking for their popular stall which sold cupcakes, Easter biscuits and treat bags. Musical theatre group Jet Force was also in attendance and the children performed a musical medley of song and dance.
The Easter Fayre is the latest in a number of events held at ExtraCare’s Solihull Village. To find out more about upcoming events visit the village Facebook page.
