Pride in every generation
ExtraCare staff represented the Charity at Birmingham Pride 2024 over Bank Holiday weekend. The city centre came alive with live performances from huge names and dance acts as the parade travelled through Birmingham city centre.
Joined by colleague Reece’s dance troop ExtraCare’s group joined thousands of fellow attendees, with an estimated 75,000 people walking, dancing, and celebrating on colourful floats through the city centre to the festival’s base at Smithfield.
Judith Doran, Head of People for ExtraCare commented: “We had 37 people in our walking float including some fabulous dancers and 2 dogs who stole the show. It was a great day full of fun and dancing and we were all very proud to represent ExtraCare at Birmingham Pride and support pride in every generation!”
