Parr Bridge Retail Park debuts ExtraCare’s latest charity shop
A new and exciting addition has arrived in the heart of Greater Manchester with the grand opening of ExtraCare’s newest charity shop situated at the vibrant Parr Bridge Retail Park on Mosley Common Road in Tyldesley.
The latest ExtraCare charity shop is more than just a store, it’s a central hub designed to bring the community together, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
The team behind the store invited the local community to join their launch celebration on Saturday 30th September for a day of fun-filled activities, including a prize draw for a £25 voucher, a tombola, and an opportunity to meet the team behind the new shop.
The day attracted visitors from near and far, with shoppers picking up a bargain whilst checking out the new shop.
Village Manager Jen commented:
We have had a lovely warm welcome to Parr Bridge Retail Park and the local community. Thank you to everyone who joined us on our launch day. We enjoyed celebrating with many of our regular customers as well as meeting lots of new customers too.
With lots of wonderful donations we have been able to bring some amazing offers to everyone.
With an extensive collection of new goods in homeware and fashion, all available for just a fraction of their retail price the shop is already proving to be a hit within the community. Proceeds from all purchases will go towards the charity which operates 20 retirement locations cross the country providing better lives for older people.
The shop welcomes donations and volunteers from the local community providing an opportunity for local residents to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.
Everyone is invited to come along to discover unique treasures, meet the friendly faces behind the counter, and enjoy the new venue—all while contributing to a worthy cause.
You can follow the shop’s Facebook Page for future updates.
