6 Home energy saving tips

1. Only wash with a full load of washing. Use cooler water temperatures, and spin well before drying.

2. Turn off all appliances at the power point when they are not being used.

3. Always close the doors to the rooms you’re not using, when cooling or heating.

4. Try and take shorter showers.

5. Use energy saving bulbs/ energy efficient appliances in your home and lamps where possible

6. Keep lids on pots when cooking. It reduces cooking time and the energy used.
