ExtraCare appoints three new trustees
The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of three new trustees.
The new trustees will help guide the strategic development of ExtraCare by providing inspirational and insightful leadership as members of an enthusiastic and committed Board.
Each of them brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the Board.
Gary Swabel is an experience executive with special interests around digital and technology. He is a tech entrepreneur with extensive knowledge of the retail, education, and construction sectors.
More recently he has been involved in founding a number of pioneering UK tech start-ups. He is Chair of Trustees of the Hasmonean Multi Academy Trust and is a non-executive director for Extracare Retail.
Mark Chamberlain is a senior HR professional with experience in areas such as talent management and succession planning.
A graduate of Bristol University and Imperial College Business School Mark is an experience consultant and change agent in HR and People Transformation. He is an accomplished, senior executive operating at board level having held challenging and complex roles, across multiple jurisdictions and geographies.
Janet Houlis has over thirty-three years’ experience within HR, operations and change management and is a champion of diversity and inclusion. Janet is an accomplished business leader who combines commercial aptitude with a people-centric approach to deliver change, improve services, and achieve unparalleled customer excellence within organisations.
Janet is a trained People Professional and Mentor. A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD), a Women on Boards Member, an Advisory Board Member, and an appointed trustee. Janet also holds a Diploma in Professional Coaching (Distinction), Coaching & Mentoring International.
Janet commented: “I am delighted to be joining as a trustee and look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust.”
