We have 58 homes.
Dependent on individual circumstances we can support residents with significant assessed care needs. We are able to support people living with dementia whose symptoms are conducive to living in an independent setting. Our Team Leader training incorporates a biopsychosocial understanding of dementia so that care planning can be as holistic and individualised as possible. We rely on external statutory and voluntary services to provide any additional specialist dementia and mental health support for our residents.
Residents without current care requirements are also very welcome.
Anyone over the age of 55 is eligible to apply for a home at Terryspring Court. Priority will be given to local people or those with a local connection.
Our properties are available for rent.
We have 58 one bedroom apartments, each with:

Monthly Sunday luncheon clubs. For a lot of older people, Sundays can feel like the loneliest day of the week, so why not book to come and spend Sunday with us at Terryspring? You can expect a mid morning activity and then a traditional Sunday roast for the cost of £7.50. Please contact the Scheme on 01527 66565 to book as places are limited.
Day opportunities. Come and spend a day at Terryspring Court, taking part in activities, having lunch or simply making use of the Scheme's wonderful facilities! This is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please contact Terryspring Court on 01527 66565 to find out more.
The Scheme is a partnership. ExtraCare manages the services and the building is owned by our housing partner Midland Heart: www.midlandheart.org.uk
Doreen Cross lived in sheltered accommodation before moving to Terryspring Court in 2005. More than 70 years ago she used to tap dance with a Redditch entertainment group and although she needs to walk with a stick, she is hoping to start tap dancing lessons at Terryspring. Doreen came second as a solo singer in an ExtraCare's Got Talent competition and was one of a team of singers and dancers from Terrysping who performed at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, in 2007. The choir is now practicing for another talent competition. An ambassador who shows people round the Scheme, Doreen also helps in the shop and, as she says, does a bit of everything that's needed. "Keeping busy is better than sitting in your armchair watching the world go by," she says.
