ExtraCare shortlisted for Housing Heroes awards

ExtraCare’s Healthy Lifestyles Team and Communications Team have been shortlisted for Inside Housing’s Housing Heroes awards.

The awards, organised by housing magazine Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing, aim to recognise teams that make the housing sector vibrant and caring.

The Healthy Lifestyles Team, which includes ExtraCare’s Well-being Advisors and EOP Locksmiths, have been shortlisted for the Care and Support Team of the Year, for their work with Aston University and the Enriched Opportunities Programme, which supports residents living with dementia.

The Communications Team have been shortlisted for Communications Team of the Year, for their work including promoting ExtraCare’s research with Aston University, publicity work around the opening of Bournville Gardens, in addition to other communications and customer involvement work.

Winners will be announced on 27th June.
