Beacon Park Village in Lichfield celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with a gala dinner and star cabaret, attended by over 200 residents, family, friends and volunteers.
Among them were the original residents who moved in when the Village first opened. The 10 remaining original staff members also attended the event.
Village Activity Facilitator Keir Pedley said: “The residents enjoyed a first class meal before international violinist Garry Lovini performed, alongside TV comic Martin Gold and comedy pianist Andy Mudd.
“Beacon Park has recently undergone a refurbishment with housing partner Bromford replacing the carpets, and all new furniture. This was completed just the day before the gala event.
“Throughout the year, residents have also been fundraising hard to raise the money to install a large 15 metre theatre backdrop and lighting system. This was completed and used for the event which looked stunning!”
